Wooly Sunflower is a perennial shrub with bright yellow flowers that can reach 2 feet high. Wooly Sunflower can be found in dry sandy plains to open, grassy or rocky sites. This plant is native all along the Western Coast of North America from British Columbia to California, east to Montana and Utah. Wooly Sunflower attracts pollinators, such as beetles, bees, moths and butterflies.
