Physocarpus capitatus
Pacific Ninebark is a tallish shrub (about 12ft) that favors low elevations in open woods, along creeks or in moist areas. Its small white flowers are clustered in dense pompoms. Has interesting brown shredding bark. Easy to grow. Reddish seed pods are showy in the fall.
