Pacific Dogwood is a deciduous, multi-branched irregular tree with attractive large white "flowers" which grows in damp forests and along streams. Pacific Dogwood is native to in the Western region of North America, from Idaho to the coast and from British Columbia to California. This tree grows 6 to 66 feet in height. The plant can grow as either a shrub or tree form, and depending on the form, can provide different habitats for animals such as nesting and shade. Flowers provide nectar for pollinators such as the azure butterfly larvae.
