Nootka Rose (1 gallon)

Nootka Rose is a native rose that does well in both dryish and moist habitats on both sides of the Cascades. It has an aggressive root system, which make it good for erosion control. Roses are large single pink blooms followed by purplish hips. Often found on near beaches. Nootka Rose can grow 2-9ft and is very difficult to distinguish from the Clustered Wild Rose, as both have pink flowers. The major difference is that Nootka Rose has larger flowers that are usually borne singly (but sometimes in pairs or triplets) at the ends of branches.
