Black Twinberry (1 gallon)

Black Twinberry is the largest of the shrubby honeysuckles, reaching 10 feet tall. It does well in moist open sites. It has pale yellow tubular flowers that can attract hummingbirds. It has purplish black fruits surrounded by reddish bracts. Fruit is not considered palatable for people. This attractive shrub should be used more in landscapes. Some birds and bears are known to eat the fruit.
